Songtext

Mum stirbt in meinen Armen hier.
Lass deine Zukunft hinter dir.
Du nimmst dein Wellenbad.
Ein Pulsschlag bleibt noch.

Nanananana …

Und Papa stirbt in seinem Bad.
Es war ein wunderschöner Tag.
Und irgendwen hast du vermisst.
Er war es nicht.

Nanananana …

Und Papa stirbt in seinem Bad.
You find your peace.

Nanananana …

How do you plan to use the profit?

We plan to invest the profit in production of new music and also in promoting it. In September, we release an EP named ‘Manic Depression’. There are already plans for an album in 2027. We are very motivated in releasing our music. Furthermore, we also want to invest the profit in costs coming up in touring, since we are increasing the number of our live dates, also outside of Austria (Germany, Italy, Czech Republic so far).

Description

binary_boy have been performing since 2023. With their music, binary_boy want to set a monument against patriarchal thinking patterns and whet appetite for the non-unique.
In addition to regular live performances, they also organize themed shows like “Fly me to Berlin” last January with an extra exhibition of several artists related to one of the band’s song or the upcoming “DONAUSKANDAL” happening at Donaukanal, yet again collaborating with visual artists.

Tell us about the best concert you ever played!

Support Show in Dresden at Beatpol. What a legendary location, a mix of rock concert hall with a classic ceiling giving you opera vibes. As we entered the stage and welcomed the crowd randomly in loud Spanish, they instantly cheered for us. It was a lot of people, dancing, cheering loudly after every song, hearing us for the first time play. After the last song, no second passed as they were chanting “Zugabe” collectively for half a minute. It was just a perfect match.

To whom does your music speak?

Our music speaks out to everyone, foremost the ones who feel not to be allowed to be their individualistic selves. We do not judge other minds, but we do share our view – on individuality, on freedom, on love.

How do you envision your musical journey?

We’re lucky to have a fast and constantly growing fan base that interacts with us on a wonderful energy-exchanging level. We strive for letting the fan base grow bigger, play more shows, especially outside of Austria. We aspire to make our music heard on radio, streaming and physical media more than so far. We want to expand our artistic collaborations with new artists, spanning from visual arts to fashion design, contemporary dance etc. For all of that, we put a lot of effort into our journey.
