How do you plan to use the profit?
We’d put it straight into our careers, better music and video production, more marketing, and above all into the people who support us along the way. Growing as a band matters most to us, growing together. At the end of the day, it’s about the music itself, about carrying forward what we hold in our hearts. We can’t do this alone, and any kind of support means the world to us.
Description
Faire La Paix is the project of Alexander Farnik and Philipp Schleifer from Innsbruck. For ten years, both were together in the melodic hardcore band Tripsitter, playing European stages. From there, they brought their DIY approach: writing, recording, and producing everything themselves in their own home studio. That’s how their 2023 debut album “Applaus” came to be, whose music video for “Balance” won the Tyrolean Music Video Award. Their new album “Schon Immer” follows in 2027.
Tell us about the best concert you ever played!
Our best concert was our very first, in 2023 at the Bale in Innsbruck, the debut show for our album “Applaus”. Completely DIY. In an empty warehouse we built a small circus tent from about twenty black moltons, with carpets, props, and warm light shining upward. Handmade paper hearts hung on the wall for guests to take home. Philipp already designed the lighting and stage back then, and that circus tent spirit still shapes our live shows today.
To whom does your music speak?
Our music speaks to people ready to open themselves up to something new in their lives. Our lyrics are deep and emotional, sometimes very direct, sometimes deliberately open, leaving room for interpretation, but always carrying that same delicate feeling underneath. We process our own experiences through our music. At our shows, we often notice how moved people are, finding things in our songs they’d never quite put into words themselves. Our music is for anyone ready to let go and feel again.
How do you envision your musical journey?
We want to push our sound out into the world, full throttle, no holding back. Bigger stages, festivals, more people hearing what we do, and we’re still growing as artists every day. Our second album drops in February 2027, and it’s something completely new again. Long term, we want to work with other artists internationally, think big instead of small. The chance might be tiny, but there’s only one shot here, no turning back, and we’re giving everything we’ve got.
