Description
IllBeso is a sound designer and producer who, after years spent abroad, aims to bring home the sonic influences and experiences discovered along his journey.
His inspirations range from Daft Punk to Bon Iver, grounded in a rock background as a drummer. He believes that a strong dose of energy is essential for any electronic live performance.
His live set intertwines immersive soundscapes, semi-modular synths, and drum machines.
He has a soft spot for robotic voices and vocoders.
Tell us about the best concert you ever played!
The best concert I’ve ever played was at Plastiqo in Riva del Garda, where I performed as the main act in front of 400–500 people. It was my first time playing to an audience of that size, and the connection I felt with the crowd made it incredibly special. I felt completely immersed in the 90-minute set, free to improvise, take risks and react to the energy of the room. I could feel when a track wasn’t right for the moment and adapt in real time, without being afraid of making mistakes.
To whom does your music speak?
I don’t have any lyrics in my tracks, I only use the music language. Therefore it speaks to music listeners.
How do you envision your musical journey?
The idea behind my project is to perform exclusively live, without releasing any recorded material.

Therefore I see my musical journey on the stage.
