MADAX
Songtext
Tall walls are rising ahead
a city once in its prime
now stands forsaken
Reeking of grime and of tears,
bent low by sorrows and fears,
he sees an old man approaching
“How come?”, he asks,
“This is not how it was meant.
My memories do not align / My mind cannot reconcile
“What did you expect?
who should sort out your faults
“Your lies. Your greed. Your actions matter indeed.
Falling apart, nothing left but the mess he made
Run away, Run away, Run away
Do you think there’s a reason to stay?
Run away, Run away, Run away
There is no one left here for you to blame
The journey takes them to woods,
where no one dares to reside,
and colours wade into grey.
Deadwood lying around,
fallen leaves hiding the ground,
whispering tales once forgotten.
The smell of rotten beliefs
that fills the desolate void
of the destroyed prime of life
What hides below the decay
Rich soil invites to return
ashes hold second chances
Looking beyond, a promise of quiet rebirth
Run away, Run away, Run away
Do you think there’s a reason to stay?
Run away, Run away, Run away
There is no one left here for you to blame
How do you plan to use the profit?

Description
MADAX is a Ladin band that has been around for over a decade. After their debut album “Individuum” and years of live shows, the band stepped back to focus on writing new music and exploring new creative ideas. With a new drummer and a set of new songs, they are now ready to present their sound to a broader audience.
The sound identity still remains the same, with powerful guitars, synths and some nostalgia of the 80’s, but now sharper and more mature then ever. MADAX are ready for the stages.
Tell us about the best concert you ever played!
The album presentation concert for “Individuum” feels like the best we’ve ever played. It wasn’t the biggest stage we’ve been on, but after the enormous amount of work we put into the location, the organization, and the production of the album, it definetly felt like the most important one. But who knows, some may say the best concert is the next one…
To whom does your music speak?
Anyone who has ever felt the tension between who they are and who the world expects them to be.
