Description
Nonie is an Austrian singer-songwriter. After graduating from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, she performed at venues such as the Cavern Club Liverpool, Szene Openair Lustenau and supported Tagtraeumer on their tour in Innsbruck and Dornbirn. Since autumn 2025, she has been based in Innsbruck/Vienna, working to establish herself in the German-speaking music scene.
Tell us about the best concert you ever played!
I think it would probably be the Tagtraeumer support show that I played in Innsbruck. I made a TikTok asking if they needed a support for their tour and that’s how everything happened! It was especially emotional for me because I started listening to Tagtraeumer when I was 12 and ten years later, I got to open for them in my hometown, surrounded by my amazing band and family and friends. I’ll never forget that feeling!
To whom does your music speak?
I try to make music that everyone can relate to in some way, whether it is through the storytelling or the musical shaping. However, I feel like it especially speaks to young women in their teens and twenties because I write a lot about what it feels like to be a woman nowadays and all the uncertainty that comes with trying to figure our world out.
How do you envision your musical journey?
I want to reach as many people as I can with my music, making them feel understood and seen with what I write. And with that, I obviously dream of playing big stages and festivals, supporting my favorite artists on their tours and hopefully do headline tours myself at some point!
