Butterfly

Songtext

My heart is broken, it feels like froozen but
I hope one day i’ll wake up and wont be that hopless.
We both were roadless not even
smokeless but we knew exactly what our home is.
When you looked at me, really deep i could
fall asleep because you gave me all of my
security.
Now you in the paradise but for what a
price you had a short life.
I often cry hoping
You are now free like a butterfly.

Tell me why, where did you go, long time
ago we just wanted to be on the radio.
You and I, sometimes we got high, even when you died you will always remain in my life.

Memories in my mind helping me to keep
You alive, let the good vibes shine, when I am thinking about you then i’ll be fine.
With a bottle of wine, we sat on your couch
the whole dark night, it felt so right to talk
with you till daylight.
When I close my eyes I see lot of
butterflies they are passing by and one of
them had your smile.
At the end of all I am asking myself where
did you gone, its been so long since we
wrote our last song.

Tell me why, where did you go, long time
ago we just wanted to be on the radio.
You and I, sometimes we got high, even
You died you will always remain in my life.

Take my hand, I’ll bring you home and
promise you that you’ll never be alone.
Take my hand, I’ll bring you home and
promise you that you’ll never be alone.

Tell me why, where did you go, long time
ago we just wanted to be on the radio.
You and I, sometimes we got high, even
You died you will always remain in my life.

How do you plan to use the profit?

I would reinvest the profit into my music, mainly to produce my debut album next year.
It would support recording, production, and help me grow as an artist and reach more people with my songs.

Description

Raphael Heinrich is a German indie pop singer-songwriter based in Tyrol and part of the Tyrolean label Northchain Records.
In his English-language songs, he explores personal themes such as loss, faith, hope, and self-reflection—honestly, authentically, and carried by a warm sense of lightness.

Tell us about the best concert you ever played!

One of the most special concerts I’ve played was in my hometown, in a climbing hall, surrounded by my family, friends, and people I grew up with.
It meant a lot to bring my music back home, especially since I mostly perform in Austria. A very emotional moment was playing my song “Butterfly,” written about my best friend who passed away, while his family was in the audience.
It was a beautiful and unforgettable night I’ll always carry with me.

To whom does your music speak?

My music speaks to people who are going through change, loss, or self-reflection. To those who are trying to find hope, let go of the past, and move forward—one step at a time.

How do you envision your musical journey?

I want to keep growing as an artist, both personally and musically, and reach more people with honest songs.
My goal is to play more live shows, build a strong connection with my audience, to release an album next year and develop my sound further.
