Tell us about the best concert you ever played!
I used to sing Radiohead, Fiona Apple, Red Hot Chili Peppers in musical schools concerts. I’ve studied singing at CDM for two years in Rovereto (TN). I’ve also played piano concerts when I studied piano at Guido Gallo Music School in Mezzolombardo (TN), from the 2nd grade to the 8th.
To whom does your music speak?
My music speaks to fragile alienated people, most of whom part of my generation (genZ), children of the 90s and y2k. It’s meant to be at first sight careless and carefree, but only because I want to make it look like it, just as teens and young adults try to fly away their thoughts looking at algorithms. Actually, almost everybody does that, even elderly people caught by the AI brainrot videos pandemic. But they’re not able to look behind the message, because it doesn’t speak to their future.
How do you envision your musical journey?
Yves Lin wants to punch reality in your face, while being not able to do that. In fact Yves Lin lives in a future dystopic universe, where she’s being forced to sing and dance to alienate people more. She was part of psychological experiments aimed at brainwashing her mind to be manipulative, but she fell in love with a guy, also experimented, who woke her up and saved her mind. That’s why she remembers everything and is faking her brainwash to send hidden messages aimed at the guy and world
