The main aim of Upload School 2023 is to put the participants in direct contact with professionals who, through their work, studies and approach, deal with various topics in music production. Interaction and confrontation will then be essential to create a dialogue and enable the participant to develop his or her own musical project.
Enrolment is open to all citizens of the provinces of Bolzano and Trento. A selection will be made on the basis of the material sent (one song / musical project) by e-mail with a short personal presentation to school@uploadsounds.eu

14:00 > get-together and recap of previous day's topics
15:00 > 17:30 workshop sampling / production: "Producer and composer: beats that speak" Practical examples on sampling and how to build beats / production - Veezo - introduction of the 'Beat Bodega' project and in band, performance / discussion of various styles that have characterised the scene
18:00 > open soundcheck: in preparation for the evening concert, some of the most important aspects of soundcheck/live performance will be seen

About our tutors...
𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐨 𝐃'𝐈𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐳𝐢 - Graduated from the Tech Music School in London (Thames Valley University), NAM in Milan and the Music Academy Italy (Three-year academic course), has also done private studies with Christian Meyer, Maxx Furian, Chris 'Daddy' Dave, Bosco de Oliveira, Mylious Johnson, John Riley, Benny Greb, Howard Curtis, Ernesto Simpson, Jack Baker and others. He boasts studio and live collaborations with Femi Temowo (Amy Winehouse, Soweto Kinch) Andrea Fascetti (Fabrizio Bosso,Ernie Wilkins,Curtis Fuller),Ilhan Ersahin & Istanbul Session, Daykoda, Erio, Naima Faraò, Technoir, Mistaman, The Black Market and many others. He is the author of 'Black Music & Drumming', a method dedicated to the world of black drumming.
𝐊𝐢𝐝𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐣𝐨 - Luca Bologna's musical journey, aka Kidd Mojo, is rooted in punk and only later moved towards sound shores close to beat making, nu-soul, hip-hop and nu-jazz; he has collaborated/collaborates in the studio or live with Black Beat Movement, Sottotono, Ernia, Mistaman, Vacca and many others.
𝐕𝐞𝐞𝐳𝐨 - Born in Milan, Fabio Visocchi is not only a talented pianist and jazz keyboardist, but above all a Sound Designer and Producer who does electronic research. Under the pseudonym 'Veezo' he also boasts prominent studio and live collaborations with artists from the Italian Hip Hop and Funk scene such as Bassi Maestro, Colle der Fomento, Davide Shorty, Guè, Turbojazz etc.... On stage as a session player he has collaborated/collaborated with Tullio de Piscopo, Nina Zilli, Annalisa, Giorgia and many others.
