Innsbruck (Tirol) alternative pop
The Fever Week is an alternative pop duo from Italy & Austria. Singer Simon Feichter and guitarist Simon Klingseis met in 2021 and began making music together in October 2023. Their first session immediately resulted in the song "happy now," which tells of the overlapping negative experiences the two musicians had in past relationships. "happy now" was released on August 2nd 2024, produced by the band and mixed/mastered by the amazing Josh Bonanno (Knox, 90's Kids, Drive!Drive!). Simon & Simon not only share the same first name but also a common passion for and taste in music. Both have been active in bands for over a decade and have been or are currently driving forces in the projects Cemetery Drive and Farbarena. Now, they are channeling all their energy, experience, and creativity into their new musical endeavour. The name The Fever Week originated during their initial songwriting sessions, during which one or both of the musicians got sick —usually with high fever. The project name ironically reflects this circumstance and equally encompasses the hope that their creative processes will proceed without physical ailments in the future. The music of The Fever Week combines 80’s pop elements with modern soundscapes, merging driving guitar riffs with catchy synthesizer melodies, inspired by Bands like The Band Camino, The 1975, Knox, and Nightly.
