Good Day For A Breakdown

Songtext

1. GOOD DAY FOR A BREAKDOWN Vers 1
Every day – same time
I get up – get it done
“Go your way – walk the line” Take your time – I have none!
She is pissed – feeling numb Switching off – working hard overheat – turning lump ended in a long jump
There is no back to my forth I will be better, henceforth Running from south to north It never ends – it never ends
Pre Chorus
I ́m gonna hate me x8
Chorus 1
You don ́t see me go find yourself
`til you don ́t fuck off I ́m not free
Vers 2
I ́m going to be the best
To fulfill what you expect Feeling bad – being stressed Kinda sad, almost depressed
There`s no back to my forth I will be better, henceforth Running from south to north It never ends – it never ends
Pre Chorus
I ́m gonna hate me x8
It never ends (abwechselnd)
Bridge
You gonna hate me
when you will see
what lays behind the walls when you will free fall
Chorus 2
You don ́t see me go find yourself
`til you don ́t fuck off I ́m not free

Description

Heating Cellar is a four-piece punkrock band from Northern Italy. Their music is aggressive, dynamic and heavily influenced by punk and grunge. After two singles and a first EP, the band released their first full-length album “Our Problems Are Your Privilege” in 2025, which demonstrates different vibes the band can generate. From raw punk rock outbursts to melodic grunge riffs, the band brings their full energy to the stage.

Tell us about the best concert you ever played!

The concerts in Vienna are definitely at the top of the list. Always full house and energy from the very first song. Our last show at Chelsea Club in May is one we’ll never forget – album release, lots of new and familiar faces in the crowd and of course, plenty of afterparties!

To whom does your music speak?

We don’t consciously aim for a specific target audience. Our music is for anyone who likes to switch off with heavy sounds but also needs grungy riffs to think along with. And if the listener still has the capacity to pay attention to the lyrics, then Heating Cellar is happy. That’s our contribution to what’s happening in society, and we’re grateful for every person who engages with it.

How do you envision your musical journey?

“We played our very first show after just three rehearsals and ten beers, in a youth center in front of fifteen people. That’s the vibe we still try to keep – though musically we’ve come a long way and (hopefully) gotten better. Everything’s a lot more professional now, but the fun of making and playing music, the hours before and after a show, and the encounters we get to have while being on the road – that’s why we do this. And of course, we’re always excited about every invitation we get!”
