Uploadsounds Contest 2025

By entering the contest, you will be able to:

• Participate in the selections that will award the best projects of the year and access a customised professional support pathway
• Have the chance to be selected for the Upload ON TOUR, playing live opening for major national and international artists
• Have the chance to be selected for the Upload LIVE and play live at other events in Italy and abroad
• Having a personalised showcase to make yourself known to music promoters and event organisers.

Two competition categories:

• UNDER 21 → if you are up to 22 years old (born from 2004)
• GENERAL → if you are up to 35 years old (born between 1990 and 2003)

The prizes are not in cash, but in professional services tailored to your project.

The total value is 16,000 euros gross:
1st place: 7,000 euros
2nd place: 3,500 euros
3rd place: 2,000 euros
Under 21: 3,500 euros

The Upload team will accompany you in choosing the professionals best suited to your needs to make your music grow: music production, communication, consultancy, training: everything you need to make a real leap forward.

Participation is simple and free:

• Read the RULES of participation carefully. (Download here)
• Register on the site and choose the ARTISTS/BAND section.
• Create your artist profile with project info and upload one of your original tracks.
• Your profile will be published online, becoming a showcase visible to the public and the UploadSounds network.
• You can edit and update your showcase page independently until the competition deadline.

Registration open from 8th of May to 20th of October 2025

First phase | SELECTION OF SEMIFINALISTS

A Jury will be created to identify the 45 semifinalists.

Second phase | FINALIST SELECTION

A jury of music professionals (Jury) will evaluate each project by assigning a score from 1 to 100. The evaluations will result in an overall ranking, from which the 12 finalist projects will be selected.

• 9 for the GENERAL category
• 3 for the UNDER 21 category

Third phase | SEND DETAILED PROJECT

Finalists must fill in a detailed form describing:

• Their artistic project
• Their professional and production requirements
• Their future vision, objectives and evolutionary potential

LIVE FINAL AUDITIONS – 15 November 2025 at Cantiere 26 (Arco, TN)

The finalists will perform live in front of the Jury, which will assess the quality of the performances and the development potential of each musical project.

At the end of the auditions, the winners of the UploadSounds 2025 contest will be announced.
