Timbreroots
Songtext
I wanna feel first times again
Like then as a child with wide open hands
Without thinking about how
Things could turn out
Floating in the clouds
The pond’s filled with lost memories
Staining my wings, won’t set me free
No space for lilies to grow
Just wilted ones I know
I just won’t let go
Take me back to simpler times
Through discoveries and nursery rhymes
When we planned each day anew
And passion made us all pursue
Still, I don’t want to reach the shore
Though I know there’s something more
A gentle breeze
A soft release
A new beginning with ease
Take me back to simpler times
Through discoveries and nursery rhymes
When we planned each day anew
And passion made us all pursue
Take me back
Take me back
Take me back
Take me back
Take me back
How do you plan to use the profit?
We would use part of the funding to support the production and promotion of our upcoming album (recording, mixing, video content, social media ads, etc.), and the other part to cover the costs of our upcoming UK/IE tour (transportation, accommodation, meals, as well as staff and agency expenses).
Description
Timbreroots, founded by South Tyrolean singer, songwriter, and fingerstyle guitarist Benedikt Sanoll (Bene), blends indie-folk, alternative rock, Americana, and Brit-pop into a distinctive “Timbrevibe.” Inspired by the Dolomites’ landscapes and artists like Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers, Ben Howard, and Bon Iver, Bene turns stories and emotions into soundscapes that resonate deeply.
Tell us about the best concert you ever played!
In the summer of 2025 we played a house concert in Sibbesse, Germany, for about 90 people. What began as a calm evening soon turned into a powerful experience: the audience was drawn deeper into our music until the room was filled with tears, laughter, and roaring energy. Even days later, we got unique messages like: “I’ve never experienced something like that thank you so much”
To whom does your music speak?
Our music speaks to people who value honesty, depth, and connection.
It’s for those who believe that individuality and togetherness can coexist — that harmony grows when different tones meet. The Timbrevibe offers a space to breathe: a moment to forget the noise, chaos, and weight of everyday life, to let go with others, and to simply enjoy live.
How do you envision your musical journey?
We see our musical journey as a path of authentic growth — rooted in honesty, connection, and the people who share the Timbrevibe with us. What began in the heart of South Tyrol is now expanding beyond borders.
After our second album and a self-organized Germany tour, we’re working with London-based agency Oboroten to build our fanbase in the UK and Ireland and prepare for a tour with our third album. Always keeping in mind our main intuition.
