From building your sound palette to setting up MIDI controllers, synths, and drum machines, this hands-on session offers insights, demos, and practical tips tailored to every level — from curious beginners to seasoned producers.

We’ll also look at how to integrate visuals and sound for a more immersive performance, and how to choose the right tools for your own musical language.

The workshop will close with the premiere of Steiner & Phonè’s brand-new live set, followed by a DJ set from Toni Telefoni.

ITA | Un workshop immersivo dedicato a musicisti e appassionati di musica elettronica che vogliono approfondire l’arte del live set — una delle forme più vive e sperimentali della scena elettronica contemporanea.

Con Steiner & Phonè, al JUMP di Appiano, esploreremo cosa rende un live set diverso da un DJ set, parleremo di creatività, improvvisazione, interazione con il pubblico, e di come costruire una performance coerente, personale e coinvolgente.

Dalla scelta degli strumenti (sintetizzatori, controller MIDI, drum machine) alla composizione, fino alla progettazione di un set dal vivo, il workshop offrirà dimostrazioni pratiche, riflessioni tecniche e consigli concreti.
Si parlerà anche di come unire elementi sonori e visivi per creare un’esperienza dal vivo ancora più completa.

L’incontro è aperto a tutti i livelli: dai curiosi agli esperti, da chi parte da zero a chi vuole portare il proprio live al livello successivo.

GER | Ein immersiver Workshop für Musiker:inne und Liebhaber:innen elektronischer Musik, die tiefer in die Kunst des Live Sets eintauchen möchten.

Im JUMP in Eppan erkunden wir gemeinsam mit Steiner & Phonè, was ein Live Set von einem DJ-Set oder einer Studio-Produktion unterscheidet. Es geht um kreative Prozesse, Improvisation, den Austausch mit dem Publikum – und darum, wie man eine eigene, stimmige und mitreißende Performance aufbaut.

Von der Auswahl der Instrumente (Synthesizer, MIDI-Controller, Drum Machines) über die Komposition bis zur Strukturierung eines Live-Sets bietet der Workshop praktische Einblicke, technische Hintergründe und konkrete Tipps.
Auch der Einsatz von visuellen Elementen zur Vertiefung des Live-Erlebnisses wird thematisiert.

Der Workshop richtet sich an alle Levels – vom Einsteiger bis zum Profi – und lädt dazu ein, eigene Ideen zu entwickeln und weiterzubringen.

Zum Abschluss: die Premiere des neuen Live-Sets von Steiner & Phonè und ein Djset von Toni Telefoni.
