ENG | An open talk about the heritage of punk, the appeal of the past, the commitment to the present, the plan for the future. What does it mean nowadays to be punk. Is it the same as it was forty years before. What’s the legacy of punk in the new generations of music. How the internet, the social media and the music industry has changed the original message. Is punk the only music genre capable of constantly reinvent itself. Is it still alternative to be punk or is it mainstream. Is it an escape. Is it the soundtrack of a revolution. Are we still fighting for something. Together, let’s talk about it and share our experiences. We gonna choose between a rich selection of tasty teas, the intense scent will open our lungs and brains, collectively hug our feelings. Bring your own favorite biscuits, share it with the other musicians like you want to share your story and your love for punk music. We can destroy together the stereotypes that surrounds this genre.

Special guests of the event are: Kasado Project and many other punk bands. Old school musicians will be present, such as Nick Lauria from Santo Marcio.
Hosted by YOMER and Fanchi, in the new venue of Spazio: via Torino 31.

In the evening, after the talk, we will move to Sudwerk where a special punk night will take act. Three punk bands will play live on stage. Our Uploadsounds selected band is Kasado Project, a true alternative young punk band. After them Business Punx and Kaiser Lee.

IT | Una conversazione aperta sull’eredità del punk, il fascino del passato, l’impegno per il presente, il piano per il futuro. Cosa significa oggi essere punk? È lo stesso di quarant’anni fa? Qual è l’eredità del punk nelle nuove generazioni musicali? Come internet, i social media e l’industria musicale hanno cambiato il messaggio originale? È il punk l’unico genere musicale capace di reinventarsi costantemente? È ancora alternativo essere punk o è diventato mainstream? È una fuga? È la colonna sonora di una rivoluzione? Stiamo ancora lottando per qualcosa?

Parliamone insieme e condividiamo le nostre esperienze. Potrete scegliere tra una ricca selezione di tè profumati, il loro aroma intenso aprirà i nostri polmoni e le nostre menti, abbracciando collettivamente le nostre emozioni. Porta i tuoi biscotti preferiti, condividili con gli altri musicisti come condivideresti la tua storia e il tuo amore per la musica punk. Distruggiamo insieme gli stereotipi che circondano questo genere.

L’evento è ospitato da YOMER e Fanchi, nella nuova sede di Spazio: via Torino 31.

La sera, dopo la talk, ci sposteremo al Sudwerk per una speciale serata punk.
Tre band punk suoneranno live sul palco: la nostra band selezionata da Uploadsounds è Kasado Project, una vera giovane band punk alternativa. Dopo di loro suoneranno Business Punx e Kaiser Lee.

DE | Ein offenes Gespräch über das Erbe des Punk, die Anziehungskraft der Vergangenheit, das Engagement für die Gegenwart und die Pläne für die Zukunft. Was bedeutet es heutzutage, Punk zu sein? Ist es noch dasselbe wie vor vierzig Jahren? Was ist das Vermächtnis des Punk in den neuen Musikgenerationen? Wie haben das Internet, soziale Medien und die Musikindustrie die ursprüngliche Botschaft verändert? Ist Punk das einzige Musikgenre, das sich ständig neu erfinden kann? Ist es noch alternativ, Punk zu sein, oder ist es mittlerweile Mainstream? Ist es ein Ausweg? Ist es der Soundtrack einer Revolution? Kämpfen wir noch für etwas?

Lasst uns gemeinsam darüber sprechen und unsere Erfahrungen teilen. Eine große Auswahl an aromatischen Tees steht bereit – ihr intensiver Duft wird unsere Lungen und Gedanken öffnen und gemeinsam unsere Gefühle umarmen. Bringt eure Lieblingskekse mit und teilt sie mit anderen Musiker:innen, so wie ihr eure Geschichte und eure Liebe zur Punkmusik teilt. Lasst uns gemeinsam die Klischees zerstören, die dieses Genre umgeben.

Am Abend ziehen wir nach der Diskussion weiter ins Sudwerk, wo eine spezielle Punknacht stattfindet.
Drei Punkbands werden live auf der Bühne spielen: Unsere von Uploadsounds ausgewählte Band ist Kasado Project, eine wirklich alternative junge Punkband. Danach folgen Business Punx und Kaiser Lee.
