Bozen - Bolzano (Alto Adige / Südtirol) pop


Gli Atop the Hill sono un gruppo musicale pop-rock bolzanino in attività dal 2014. Il percorso artistico è iniziato con la scrittura di brani originali in lingua inglese, influenzati molto dall’alternative rock e dall’indie-rock dei primi anni ‘00. La svolta stilistica e sonora è avvenuta con la pubblicazione del singolo Questa Moda (2018), primo brano del gruppo scritto in lingua italiana, con influenze pop e indie-pop. La band si è fatta notare sui maggiori palchi altoatesini e trentini, ma anche su palchi importanti per la scena indipendente come quello del M.E.I. Meeting di Faenza, offrendo uno show caratterizzato da un’energica presenza scenica e proponendo brani dal sound eclettico che spaziano dal funk alla disco music, a testimonianza dei diversi background musicali che contraddistinguono i cinque membri del gruppo. Nel 2019, gli Atop hanno vinto il concorso musicale Arezzo Wave e hanno potuto suonare al SudWave Festival di Arezzo in rappresentanza del Trentino Alto-Adige, proponendo per la prima volta dal vivo il brano inedito Stare a metà. Degne di nota l’apertura della band al concerto di Ghemon presso il Teatro Sanbapolis (TN) e la vittoria del contest musicale Euregiorock, che ha comportato l’apertura di tre date del tour di Vasco Rossi (Vasco Live Tour 2022) a Trento (Trentino Music Arena), Firenze (Visarno Arena) e Messina (Sadio San Filippo) davanti ad un pubblico totale di 220.000 persone.
