Rovereto (Trentino) hiphop & rap


CARPA (Nicolò Carpita), classe 1999, inizia la sua carriera musicale nel 2018 con il collettivo hip hop trentino Urban Therapy. Lo stesso anno rilascia il suo primo singolo, "Street heart" e qualche mese dopo il primo featuring, "Dimmi che" in collaborazione con LUX. Da qui inizia il suo percorso formativo vero e proprio. L'anno successivo, il suo primo album ufficiale, "Pesce fuor d'acqua", anticipato dall'uscita dell'estratto "Mare di nebbia". Dopo le diverse collaborazioni con volti noti della scena locale sperimenta diversi generi nel settore portando live i suoi nuovi lavori (tra cui si citano l'album Hybris e l'ep. SOUL) accompagnato tutt’oggi dalla band composta da Matin Horizon, 8 Syntagma e Mario Piccillo. Negli ultimi anni si è inoltre stretta una forte collaborazione con il rapper/dj campano Black Phillip, con il quale spesso l'artista condivide il palco

Il progetto "CARPA" nasce in primis con l'obiettivo di condividere un messaggio e trasmettere emozioni a volte anche contrastanti, grazie alla cura particolare dei testi e delle strumentali. L'obiettivo finale è estendere tutto questo a più persone possibili e trovare la propria dimensione su grandi palchi cercando in ultimo di "vivere di musica"
