Trento (Trentino) Jazz & Acid Jazz


I MaNiDa sono un gruppo italiano formatosi nell'estate del 2020 che fonde influenze jazz, classiche e pop con l'obiettivo di creare un sound originale e personale, senza l’utilizzo tradizionale di uno strumento armonico. Il gruppo è costituito da Martina Effy Bergonzoni alla voce, Niccolò Zanella al sassofono tenore, Matteo Padoin al contrabbasso e Daniele Patton alla batteria. La loro musica è caratterizzata da intricati intrecci melodici che alternano momenti di contrappunto melodico a richiami ad armonie corali. Le diverse personalità e influenze musicali dei componenti del gruppo si fondono per dare vita a composizioni creative che, insieme a una performance coinvolgente, contribuiscono a creare un'esperienza di ascolto avvincente ed immersiva. Nell'estate del 2021, i MaNiDa hanno ottenuto un importante riconoscimento vincendo il concorso Music 4 The Next Generation, selezionati da una giuria composta da artisti come GeGè Telesforo, Roberto Cipelli e Alberto Martini. Il 30 aprile 2022, in occasione dell'International Jazz Day, hanno aperto il concerto di GeGè Telesforo presso il Teatro Ristori di Verona. I membri dei MaNiDa sono concertisti attivi a livello nazionale ed europeo e con questa formazione si sono esibiti in prestigiosi teatri italiani come il Teatro Sociale di Trento, il Teatro Zandonai di Rovereto e il Teatro Ristori di Verona. Il 19 gennaio è prevista l’uscita del loro album di debutto Foreṡìa sotto l'etichetta norvegese AMP Music & Records.

L'obiettivo dei MaNiDa è quello di portare la nostra musica il più possibile in Italia e specialmente all'estero. Per questo motivo abbiamo deciso di rilasciare il nostro primo disco con AMP Records, un’etichetta norvegese con base a Kyoto. Crediamo fortemente nella nostra musica e nel suo nuovo sound acustico, che fonde mondi diametralmente opposti tra loro incorporando influenze jazz, classiche e pop, attraverso momenti di contrappunto melodico, richiami ad armonie corali ed episodi di improvvisazione libera.
