I The Chestnutz si fondano nell’autunno del 2022, a ridosso di una settimana dall’iscrizione di Upload Sound. Gabriele Stanga, cantante e performer militante della community open-mic di Sidewalk, pubblica un annuncio per cercare due musicisti desiderosi di mettersi alla prova insieme al contest musicale. È così che entrano nei ranghi Manlio Camizzi e Simone Bergamo, i due chitarristi con cui Gabriele riarrangerà i brani scritti dalla sua penna. È un giovane legame quello che lega i tre artisti, ma ben pronto per portare sul palco del Sanbapolis i brani struggenti di Gabriele.
