I Meet Me in Montauk nascono dall'incontro tra Maddalena Ansaloni e Davide Mariotti. Conosciutisi per caso all'inizio del 2018, iniziano a comporre brani mettendo i testi di Davide sulle note della chitarra di Maddalena. Nel giro di pochi mesi nasce un progetto di 7 tracce dal titolo Pagine Strappate: il loro primo lavoro. Pagine Strappate riscuote delle buone risposte da parte del pubblico che li sente suonare dal vivo, tanto da convincere i due a formare effettivamente un duo dando vita così ai Meet Me in Montauk. Con sonorità che strizzano l'occhio all'indie e testi che arrivano dal rap e dal cantautorato, i due continuano a produrre musica assieme. Dal 2021 si aggiunge alla formazione Filippo Zanforlin alle percussioni. Per il 2022 è previsto il loro prossimo lavoro in studio.
