I Darvaza si formano a Trento nel febbraio del 2015. Il progetto può essere associato alla scena post-punk revival, mirando a riproporre i suoni tipici della newwave, tramite brani inediti ed alcune cover. Le band ispiratrici sono icone del genere come Joy Division, The Cure, The Chameleons, The Smiths, The Sound, Diaframma e Sad Lovers and Giants, e più moderne come Interpol, Editors e White Lies. La formazione attuale è composta da Luca alla voce ed effetti, Alessandro al basso e seconda voce, Saverio alla chitarra, Claudio alla tastiera e Giovanni alla batteria. La band si è esibita presso vari eventi e pub locali, come Angolo dei 33, Don Quijote e Bookique, ed ha partecipato ad alcuni contest come l’Arezzo Wave 2017, Suoni Universitari 2017 e Rock Time 2016, qualificandosi per la finale. Il giorno 12/01/2018 è uscito il video live su BalconyTV di Life is Unfair. La band è attualmente in gara (semifinali) per il Rock Time 2018. Il brano inedito “Life is Unfair” è stato utilizzato come colonna sonora per il cortometraggio “Trapassato Prossimo”. La band sta attualmente registrando un EP di cinque pezzi e sta lavorando con Envyda per la realizzazione del videoclip del brano “Life is Unfair”.

Stiamo per uscire con un EP e un videoclip. Il post-punk revival ha molto mercato nel mondo anglosassone e tedesco. Il nostro obiettivo è quello di esportarlo anche in Italia, e crediamo che Uploadsounds possa essere il mezzo ideale permettendo tour in Austria e Alto Adige, crocevia tra i due mondi tedesco e italiano.
