(Bolzano) hardrock & metal


The band was founded 2004 by Martin Gschnitzer(guitar & vocals) Michael Tolpeit(bass & vocals) and Elias Braunhofer(drums). After some time, they decided to change from a punk band to a metal band. Elias took the part as the vocalist and with René Mair a new drummer was found. 2005 Alexander Baldassare replaced René Mair. Shortly after, Michael left the band for personal reasons. More than half a ...year passed until Matthias Erlacher took over the role of bassist. A new formation was born. With this formation many songs and different genres of metal have been tried out, until, by the end of 2008, the matching genre was found "Deathcore". However, the band decided, that they need a second guitar to give more expression to the songs. Matthias decided to take the part of the lead guitarist. So the search for a new bass player and a second voice began, which soon was found with Aaron Baldauf and Kevin Wild. Mid-2009 the lineup was set. Elias and Kevin at the microphones, Matthias and Martin on the guitars, Aaron on the bass and Alex on the drums. After the first few songs Elias left the band. "Upcoming Storm" was born. In 2011 Kevin Wild left the band for personal reasons. Davide Puddu took part as the vocalist in August 2011. The band changed the name in "Depreciate the Liar".
