Molveno (Trentino) other


Quella degli HERR non è una storia lunga né complicata. Tutto ha inizio a settembre 2019, nella “movida” di Trento, dove avviene il casuale incontro tra Jacopo (voce), Matteo (basso) e Andrea (batteria). Dopo una quantità non ben definita di birre artigianali, i tre scoprono di avere un interesse musicale in comune e decidono di fondare un gruppo. Nascono ufficialmente gli HERR: un gruppo punkettaro nostalgico, che si approccia al funky con fare da rapper e lo sguardo al futuro con melodie elettroniche. Da quel momento la storia si riempie di prove, alcol e droghe leggere (molto caffè). Nell’autunno 2020, il gruppo si amplia con l’arrivo di un nuovo chitarrista, Davide. Il gruppo subisce differenti influenze musicali, che spaziano dai RHCP ai Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Rage Against the Machine e 99 Posse. Ne risulta una musica caratterizzata da groove ritmici e solidi, creati da una simbiosi a tratti punk tra batteria, basso e chitarra, con sporadici elementi elettronici ornamentali. Il cantato è un bel mix tra il pop e il rap. Sembra una band uscita direttamente dagli anni ‘90, con una nostalgia dei vecchi tempi quando anche nell’hip-hop si suonavano strumenti. Il 3 luglio 2020 hanno pubblicato il loro primo EP demo, registrato alla Roccia Records, masterizzato dalla White Beech Production di Giuseppe Sogaro. Attualmente la band è in studio per registrare il primo album che uscirà a breve.
