Trento (Trentino) pop


I Joy Holler nascono nel 2015 per una serie di coincidenze: 4 cuori muscolosi che hanno in comune la voglia di iniziare un progetto ispirato alla black music. Calcano i locali trentini e nel giugno 2016 vincono il primo premio dell'ambito contest "Centro Musica Awards", ottenendo così l'accesso ad Area Sanremo, dove hanno l'occasione di partecipare a corsi di formazione tenuti da professionisti della realtà discografica italiana, confrontandosi con artisti provenienti da tutta Italia. Nel novembre 2016 esce il loro primo EP, "Brighter Love", promosso con concerti nei locali di tutta la regione (e anche oltre i confini). Dall'autunno 2017 la band inizia la produzione del suo primo album, che vede un importante cambiamento rispetto all'EP, cioè la scelta di comporre tutti i brani in lingua italiana. Il lavoro in studio comincia nel febbraio 2018 e termina circa due mesi dopo. Il primo album dei Joy Holler, "Mettetevi Comodi", è in uscita il 6 maggio e sarà intriso del loro sound pop/funk, ma lascerà spazio ad esplorazioni nel rap e nel reggae.
