I Little John nascono a fine estate del 2014 da un’idea di Giovanni Rasera e Giovanni Demozzi. I due ragazzi provengono da passati musicali diversi – uno più mirato all’acustico, l’altro al rock classico - ma hanno in comune la voglia di creare canzoni proprie per raccontare ciò che li circonda e, allo stesso tempo, ciò che sentono dentro. Dopo aver consolidato un repertorio fatto di cover orientate all’indie folk e qualche pezzo proprio, il gruppo viene affiancato da Sebastiano Beozzo alla batteria e tastiere e da Giacomo Turra al basso che permette alla band di spaziare su vari generi. La band si è esibita in vari locali tra cui il Social Stone, Arsenale, Spazio 360°, Relab, ha suonato a varie manifestazioni come il One Origin di Rovereto, alla festa del centro musica di Trento, alla festa di Pomaria e al concorso Play your Music. Il gruppo ha vinto il premio musica d’autore del concorso di Vigolo Vattaro “Ricordando Angela, Erica, Matteo” e il premio pubblico della finale di Suoni Universitari. Al momento il gruppo è impegnato nella realizzazione di un album di inediti.
