Trento (Trentino) other


Alternative rock band di Trento (TN) I Matleys sono una band alternative rock di Trento formata da Gabriele Valentini (chitarra e voce), Marcello Mattevi (batteria), Nicola Andreatta (basso e cori) e Denis Rossi (chitarra). Nel loro sound si riscontrano sonorità riconducibili a un certo indie rock di matrice britannica e contaminazioni che provengono dal punk e dal grunge. A Novembre 2015 esce tramite This is Core Records il loro primo disco di inediti “Desirevolution” che oltre ad ottenere recensioni molto positive da diverse webzine musicali riesce a far conoscere la band anche al di fuori dei confini regionali. L’album è stato registrato da Michele Vicentini presso il TBSOD studio di Vigolo Vattaro e masterizzato in analogico da Michele Conci a Trento (TN). Nei mesi successivi la band promuove il disco in quasi tutti i più noti locali della provincia e partecipa a diversi festival regionali oltre ad aprire concerti di band di rilevanza nazionale. A novembre 2016 esce il nuovo disco “La Prospettiva del Trapezista”, un EP contenente 6 nuovi pezzi inediti scritti interamente in italiano.
