(Trento) hardrock & metal


Inizialmente Nixel (Nicola Degiampietro) e George (Mattia Ganz), due amici con la passione per la musica metal, si ritrovarono a suonare in una saletta prove a Forno (frazione di Moena). Agli inizi di gennaio 2010, dopo aver lasciato la vecchia band, Vizzi (Mattia Deville) entrò nel duo di amici condividendo la passione per il metal e iniziando a coverizare i primi pezzi di Ozzy e Metallica. Ma la fondazione vera e propria venne a metà di febbraio 2010 con l'entrata del gruppo di Buro (Luca Volcan). Finalmente una band completa, i Midnight iniziarono a fare qualche concerto per val di Fassa e Fiemme cercando di farsi conoscere sempre più. A fine 2010 si iniziò a coverizare i Pantera dando ai componenti della band più esperienza e compattezza. A inizio 2011 i Midnight parteciparono al Winter Rock Festival portando 3 cover dei Pantera riscuotendo un discreto successo tra i giudici grazie a una buona presenza scenica e un esecuzione dei brani notevole. Nel luglio 2011 suonarono al Suan Rock, importante tappa della musica rock/metal di val di Fiemme. Nel ottobre dello stesso anno parteciparono al Cover Oltre Festival portando sempre i Pantera, riscuotendo lo stupore della giuria e sempre grazie a un buon carisma sul palco, si piazzarono secondi. Verso fine 2011 e inizio 2012 iniziarono a comporre i loro primi pezzi propri. Ad aprile 2012 parteciparono al Cover Oltre Festival under 21 portando cover di Megadeth Metallica e una canzone propria, arrivando primi.
