Lavis (Trentino) pop

Poor Works first gig is dated 6th March 2009. The project's aim is to honor the songs that have made the history of pop and rock British music, from the Beatles to the Queen, from the Rolling Stones to the Coldplay, from the Who to the Oasis and many others. In 2013 they published their first album: “Colours of us”, LP made out of 10 original songs and one remake of 500 Miles from The Proclaimers. The album was anticipated by the single “Sunday”, a breezy and dancy song about the day where everybody can finally rest after a frenetic week. In 2014 they participated to a famous Italian talent scout, “Amici di Maria de Filippi”, reaching the final selections where they faced other 5 bands selected from thousands all over Italy and almost managing to enter the program. In 2015 they took part to their first contest, Arezzo Wave Love Festival. They won the regional selections and got the occasion to play in Arezzo with some other bands coming from all over Italy. The same year, their second single was published. It's called “Morning Light” and it's a song about love, the one that every human being want to give to the person they want to dedicate their life to, the one of a relative towards their child alike. In 2016 they finally decided to get rid of English and started writing in their mother tongue, Italian. The result is the publication of their last two singles: “Autoscatto”, an Italian version of a song of their album, and “In Volo”. This last represents the definitive sound and personality of the new Italian-singing band.
