I The Dogs Of The Grapes nacquero in una serata del 2005 o 2006 in un bar della Valsugana, dove il chitarrista Davide e il batterista Graziano decisero di mettere su un gruppo che appagasse il loro stile musicale. Da lì a poco Davide scoprì le doti canore di un suo amico Daniele, al quale venne dato un microfono e che col tempo divenne anche seconda chitarra. Mancava solo qualcuno da inserire al basso. Nel corso degli anni molti bassisti hanno suonato con i TDOTG ma la formazione raggiunse la stabilità nel luglio del 2014 quando Alex incrociò il duo Davide-Daniele in un pub della zona e gli chiesero di andarli a sentire per vedere se il genere gli potesse piacere. Tra due chiacchiere e qualche giro di birra l'ultimo arrivato accettò entusiasta. Da lì il quartetto ha concretizzato anni di prove e canzoni composte. Nel gennaio del 2016 decidono che è il momento di avere un cd tra le mani ed entrano nel garage-studio di un amico dove iniziano ad incidere su nastro la loro musica.
