Lana - Lana (Alto Adige / Südtirol) rock


It is not quite easy to describe The Modern Flower’s sound. It is a mix of various genres, like stoner, classic rock and reggae. Back in 2018 four friends from Oberlana (and Gewerbezone) started meeting every now and then in a musty rehearsal room underneath a kindergarten. Their only purpose was chilling and jamming. Miggi, Olf, Zambe and Hias were excited as the random noises they’ve put together started to sound kind of all right. As time got by the idea of creating a new band (all of them are or have been part of other bands too) started to evolve in the jammer’s heads. Two big parts have been missing at that time, a singer and a name. In April 2019 two jammers have been invited to a private jam session in Naturns. Clemi’s voice immediately attracted the attention of Miggi and Hias and so they asked him to join a jam session in the well-known musty rehearsal room. Finally, a singer has been found and the guys started to create new songs. When in 2020 finally a fitting name has been found, The Modern Flowers released their first single “Methanol Poisoning”. Be sure that there will be more to follow.
