#NuovoMei2016 con Fucsia e Perin & Barbarossa

Al MEI – Meeting degli Indipendenti a Faenza ci saranno due band firmate UploadSounds

Mancano soltanto due settimane al MEI – Meeting degli indipendenti. Dal 23 al 25 Settembre 2016 avrà inizio il più grande festival della musica emergente italiana con il primo festival del giornalismo musicale. A Faenza ci saranno un tre giorni di musica con tantissimi live. Presente anche due band firmate UploadSounds.

Dopo il bando lanciato di UploadSounds che ha avuto tantissime risposte da parte dei giovani musicisti della piattaforma musicale dell'Euregio, ora sappiamo chi è stato scelto e partirà per il grande evento MEI. Sul palco saliranno Fucsia dal Trentino e Perin&Barbarossa, vincitori dell'Alto Adige della edizione 2015/2016.

Fucsia è Simone Gottardi, chitarra e voce, e il batterista, Paolo Brugnara. Il duo nasce nel 2012 nella Valle di Cembra con l'intento di proporre alla scena musicale del Trentino qualcosa di nuovo mediante l'appoggio di computer, sintetizzatori e campionamenti. Nel proprio electro-rock incorporano influenze da NIN, Resando, Zaromancer e Manson. Con l'etichetta Sudoku Records hanno già presentato due EP "2 is better" e "Lazy Electrons".

Insieme a Fuscia viaggerà anche il duo Perin & Barbarossa a Faenza. Marc Perin e Tobias Egger si sono incontrati ad Innsbruck nel 2014. Già dopo poche serate di musica trascorsi insieme entrano in sintonia. La chitarre suonata nel fingerstyle e la fisarmonica nelle loro mani lasciano suoni veloci, divertenti, pieno di ritmo al quale non può resistere nessuno. Tutti iniziano ai primi suoni a muoversi con il loro sound particolarissimo.

La programmazione del #NuovoMei2016 prevede un inizio del festival per il venerdì 23 settembre alle ore 20:30 in Piazza del Popolo. Ore 15 del giorno dopo si prosegue su 2 palchi nel centro storico con numerosi band tra cui i vincitori del Musing Show e del Taranto Rock Rete Dei Festival. Seguono più tardi nella giornata concerti su altri 5 palchi. Domenica ci saranno anche le band UploadSounds. Fucsia suonerà alle ore 15 al Corona Cocktail Plaza mentre Perin&Barbarossa suoneranno nel tardi pomeriggio al Palazzo Laderchi. Trovate il programma completo sul sito del MEI al link www.meiweb.it.
