I Toundra nascono a Madrid nel 2007 e pubblicano il loro primo album, 'I', nel 2008. Il loro talento immediatamente ha attirato l'attenzione di fan di tutto il mondo, soprattutto in Germania, Francia e Brasile. 'II' è uscito nel 2010 e ha segnato un passo avanti definitivo per lo sviluppo del sound della band, aprendo la loro musica ad una più ampia varietà di influenze provenienti da tutti gli angoli del globo. L'album è stato molto ben accolto dai media e fans. 'III ', il loro sforzo più grande fino ad oggi, è uscito nel 2012 e ha inserito i Toundra tra le più consolidate formazioni attuali della musica rock, dando loro la possibilità di firmare con Superball / Century Media, etichetta con cui hanno pubblicato il loro ultimo lavoro.

 

Toundra wurden im Jahre 2007 in Madrid gegründet und die Veröffentlichung ihres ersten Albums “I” erfolgte ein Jahr später. Ihre Musik hat sofort für weltweites Furore gesorgt, vor allem in Deutschland, Frankreich und Brasilien. 2010 erschien das zweite Album “II”, das zugleich einen Fortschritt und eine Zäsur im Schaffen der Band markiert: Ein experimentelles Album mit Musikeinflüssen aus aller Welt. 2012 erschien schließlich “III” und dieses Album verhalf der Band einen weiteren Sprung nach vorn, sodass sie nun beim Label Superball/Century Media unter Vertrag stehen.
